Mash Analysis

Most fuel ethanol plants have analytical capabilities such as HPLC to analyze their fermentation mash and monitor production kinetics. Identifying and subsequently solving fermentation problems sometimes requires a more in-depth look at the microbiological and biochemical profiles of the mash.

  • We offer complete mash analysis including isolation, enumeration and identification of contaminating bacteria and generation of antibiotic susceptibility profiles helpful for identifying the source of contamination and the best options for resolution.
  • We offer DDGS testing and routine profiling for our partnership customers.
  • We offer routine sample pick up programs and provide full fermentation analysis reports
  • We can also identify and resolve non-bacterial problems affecting fermentation.

Fermentation Training and Continuing Education

Continuing education is an important part of our relationship with customers.  A successful operation starts with the most important asset "People".  We offer intensive training seminars on a wide variety of fermentation topics. In depth training is available for new start-ups or existing plants helps our customers to make the most informed decisions increasing fermentation efficiency.

If there is a particular fermentation-related topic you are interested in learning more about let us know and we can schedule a meeting at your facility or arrange a meeting and/ or training at our research facilities.
